Abortion, with love is a project started by Camila Ochoa Mendoza in December, 2020. It came from a desire to find spaces where abortion could be talked about openly and from the heart. The podcast is a love letter to the abortion community, who are changing the world with so much grace. It’s a call for action to those who never considered the role that abortion plays in their lives. It’s a manifesto, a dream towards a world where abortion is celebrated and where people who have abortions are cared for and loved.
Abortion, with love has been featured on The New Internationalist, Yes! Magazine, and the Repro Freedom Arts blog.
Hi, I’m Camila, a culturally confused Venezuelan living in Sweden, where I work as an abortion doula and consultant for all things abortion. When I’m not talking about abortion, I’m likely cooking, reading, or taking bike rides to the sea.
What People Are Saying
“This is an excellent podcast on so many levels. The topics give a wonderful panorama of the varied world of abortion in a way that is both fiercely instructive yet gently enlightening. Camila is a kind and humble interviewer, giving guests generous time and space to share their knowledge and perspectives, but also adding just enough reflection and information to round out the discussions. I have learned so much from these interviews and have been profoundly inspired.”
